Dear Sisters and Brothers,

February has arrived and there are many things happening at St. Stephen’s!  This is going to be the first of many Community letters to come!  I hope this will keep everyone aware of the goings on at St. Stephen’s.

Besides the highlighted activities above, we are going to have a noon service on Ash Wednesday as well as the bi-lingual service with San Esteban at 7:00 p.m.  Come and begin our Lenten Season with this very meaningful service.

Lenten Book Study with Deanna Anderson begins Sun., the 22nd, in the back classroom at 9:55 A.M.  It will go until March 29th.  The book is:  UNDERSTANDING SPIRITUAL GIFTS by Kay Arthur & David Lawson.  Go to Amazon or Barnes & Nobles to get your copy.

Our Wednesdays in Lent will be shared with San Esteban(2/25; 3/11; 3/25) and St. Stephen’s (3/4; 3/18/; and 4/1) for the meals.  Dinner at 6:00 P.M.;  Stations of the Cross (bilingual) at 7:00; and a study group for St. Stephen’s afterwards.

Please come and join us for these wonderful events.  There will be more announcements as we move along the Lenten Road.  This is a time for reflection and self-examination.  It is also a good time to be together with Community to break bread, worship and study.

In Christ’s Love,

Mary+
